The company was founded in 2004 by a group of former executives, and is headquartered in Silicon Valley, California.
Fusion has raised $13 million in seed funding, which will be used to build the company’s data management and cloud services.
Genesis is the second cloud service chosen by the Turing award, following Dropbox, which won the award in 2013.
The winners are announced on Monday, Dec. 2.
Genysis is based in Palo Alto, California, and has raised more than $100 million in funding.
